Divine Adventures Project

After making The Demons Gambit, I wanted to try another combat style, turn base. Everything I have done before has always been real time combat. So now I wanted to branch out and do a completely different style of combat. I recently finished playing the game Evenicle and really fell in love with everything about it, do I decided to use that game as my reference. 

The gameplay video shows off most of the mechanics in the game. Unfortunately the boss fight somehow broke since the last time I have touched this game so I unfortunately couldn’t show it off ๐Ÿ™ It’s 30ish minutes soooo yah. I have photos and stuff of the menus so that you can get a quick look at it.

Unlike the other games that I have worked on, this project was initially supposed to be me, recreating the mechanics of evenicle and modifying it very slightly. Just so that I can 1, understand how to develop that style of game. 2, further my knowledge of unreal. and 3, try to come up with a dumb funny story. 

Before leaving to Japan, I wanted to finish developing the game. However I unfortunately ran out of time and had to quickly finish the game. Because of that there are still some bugs to work out, balance the numbers, and the game just kinda ends after the final fight. I am still pretty pleased with what I was able to do in a relatively short amount of time.

Coming back from Japan, I wanted to revisit my idea and try to add and change a few mechanics so that it is not as similar to Evenicle.
