First Blockmesh Level

This is the first blockmesh level that I have ever created. It was a one month assignment for my class. Below I will show you the reference images I used as well as the final result of the blockmesh. I haven’t had much experience designing things like this in the past, but creating this level changed my perspective and gave me more motivation to work on similar projects in the future.

This is the start of my level. The player looks at a mountain with a cave entrance. There are two statues holding a sword, with the red square symbolizing a shield of some sort. (I realize I could have used a circle, but didn’t think of it at the time)

This is the focal point of my level. After the player goes through the mountain, they are presented with these ruins. The player can explore to find a few interacting parts, though you can’t actually see them in this image.

This is the level’s end, where the player finishes climbing the cliff of a mountain and finds the sword Excaliber. (The only issue with this section is that you can see into the endless void that is space)
